Raelene Ostberg is the founder of Thriving Together and a nationally recognized keynote speaker, trainer, and early childhood professional who inspires educators, Head Start advocates, and professionals who work with young children and families to reduce stress, increase joy, and strengthen relationships.
With more than 20 years of experience in early childhood classrooms—including 15 years working with infants and toddlers—and more than 25 years partnering with families, Raelene brings real-world experience, research-based practices, and practical strategies to her work. She holds a master’s degree in Family Education and advanced training in stress and resiliency through the Mayo Clinic’s Stress-Free Living Program.
Raelene’s Inspiring Terrific Toddlers series equips educators, family advocates, and professionals who support toddler families with practical, developmentally appropriate strategies they can use immediately to better understand toddler behavior, support regulation and cooperation, and create calmer, more connected caregiving environments. Her engaging, story-driven approach leaves participants feeling understood, re-energized, and equipped to support toddlers and the families who care for them.
I have been to management workshops, not leadership training. This has totally changed my perspective and encouraged me to propel forward in developing my skills.
I am honored and humbled to be a recipient of the Head Start WEST’s Legacy Scholarship. The scholarship helped me get one step closer to achieving my goal of becoming a Head Start Director.
I took part in The disproportionate impact of COVID 19, and how to provide “real” support for black/brown children and families and I just want to say this was an amazing webinar. I hope we can look forward to further conversation on this topic.
